this new educational and research center is located in
Viennas exclusive 19th district on top of Kahlenberg - a hill with breathtaking views of the city.
For the first time it is possible to complete a full degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management at an Austrian university. The study program commenced with the following two degrees:
BBA
Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality Management
MBA
Professional Master of Business Administration in Tourism Management
(in cooperation with the Executive Academy of the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration).
Following the initial launch of the degrees in Tourism and Hospitality, the university will extend its portfolio with an MBA in New Media and Information Management, as well as a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) in Public Governance and Management. MU Vienna also plans to develop its own doctoral and postdoctoral courses.
The university has a strong international orientation. The language of instruction is English, which provides an excellent study and research environment for Austrian and overseas students and scholars.
A team of experts, consisting of renowned university professors and eminent local and international guest lecturers, guarantees the highest quality of teaching and research. The university has already embarked upon setting up a separate center for applied research, and will organize international conferences and conventions.
MU Vienna has set a clear and realistic goal for itself: in the next 10 years it aims to be one of Europes leading private universities, and to become an international center of innovation, knowledge transfer and sustainability!
